Most salt cells have an average life expectancy of about 10,000 operating hours, which typically translates to a replacement cycle of approximately every 3 to 5 years depending on usage and operating conditions. Pump Motor Replacement
Pool pump motors typically run between 12 and 24 hours per day, making them the hardest-working component on the equipment pad and, over time, the most common piece of pool equipment to fail and require replacement.
